We are a non-denominational Christian childcare center and we believe our love and worship of God must be at the heart of all we say and do. We believe God has given us the unique opportunity to share His love with children as we help them explore the world He created. It is vital for us to partner with families to ‘train their child in the way they should go’ as we recognize the family as the number one influence in a child’s life. We also recognize the great amount of trust and responsibility given to us by allowing us to have a role in the lives of these children. We can only successfully achieve this partnership by building relationships with our parents and by creating regular, confident, and comfortable lines of communication. We believe properly training up a child requires lots of love, laughter, and encouragement. We believe children learn best in an environment where they are given lots opportunities to play, explore, question, risk, create and succeed. We believe it is the job of our entire staff to allow each child to explore their world using all of their senses by creating a fun, stimulating, and safe environment that encourages children to grow in confidence and independence. We believe it is very important for us to recognize all the children in our care as entire little people and to develop their whole person. This means we must address their academic, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs. We believe each child is created special and unique by Almighty God. As such, we strive to get to know, love, and value each child individually; recognizing each will have their own personality, strengths and struggles. Our program must tailor itself to fit the needs of each individual child to allow them to become the young ladies and gentlemen God intends. Mission Statement Sonshine Early Learning Center exists to provide a safe, developmentally appropriate setting for preschool and school age children in a loving and God-centered environment. Our focus is to provide a stimulating educational and childcare experience which promotes each child’s social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual development.
Our goal is to partner with families to build the foundation in our children on which to build a life-long love of learning.
