Mrs. Pomeroy & Mrs. Bransom Kathy Pomeroy was born and raised in North Bend, Oregon. After high School, she headed up to Seattle Pacific University where she earned her degree in Elementary Education and Sociology. She taught Kindergarten and, along with her husband Troy, was involved in Youth Ministry in the Seattle are for several years. In 1995, they moved back to Oregon where she taught 4th grade until their first child was born in 1998. the next several years were filled with Youth Ministry and being blessed with 2 more children! Before moving to Central Point, Kathy directed the early childhood department of the church where Troy was the Youth Pastor. Three years ago the family moved to the Rogue Valley where Troy is now on staff at Medford Bethel Church and Kathy has had the distinct pleasure of teaching preschool at Sonshine for the last 1 ½ years. In addition to the delight of teaching, Kathy enjoys being outside playing with her family, going on bike rides, loves being at the beach, and can’t wait to take the trophy every year in fantasy football! She has a penchant for ASL and is trying to learn more all the time.
